Curriculum
NDA Eligibility Criteria - 
The National Defence Academy (NDA) exam in India is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for admission to the Army, Navy, and Air Force wings of the NDA. The eligibility criteria for the NDA exam are as follows:

Nationality-
Indian Citizen: Candidates must be citizens of India.
 
Other Nationalities: Subjects of Bhutan, Nepal, or Tibetan refugees who came to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India.
 
Persons of Indian Origin: Migrants from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, and Ethiopia or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Age Limit
Candidates must be between 16.5 and 19.5 years of age.
Specifically, the candidate must have been born not earlier than 2nd January and not later than 1st July for the exam conducted in the first half of the year, and not earlier than 2nd July and not later than 1st January for the exam conducted in the second half of the year.

Educational Qualifications
- For Army Wing of NDA: Candidates must have passed or be appearing in the 12th class or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
- For Air Force and Naval Wings of NDA and the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy: Candidates must have passed or be appearing in the 12th class or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics from a recognized board.

Marital Status
Candidates must be unmarried. They are not allowed to marry during their training period.

Physical Standards
Candidates must be physically fit according to the physical standards set by the NDA and the respective wings. The standards include parameters like height, weight, vision, hearing, and general health.

Note:
-Candidates who are appearing in the 11th class exam are not eligible for the NDA exam.
-Candidates who have failed the CPSS/PABT earlier are not eligible for the Air Force.
